In August of 2003 something happened in the watch world which caused a lot of people to take notice of a small independent watchmaker from Sheffield in England. That something was the birth of a dive watch called the PRS-2 Dreadnought and that small independent watchmaker was Eddie Platts of Timefactors. Like the nuclear powered submarine it was named after, the limited edition of 200 Dreadnoughts appeared on the market swiftly and silently, and in an instant they were gone, leaving many people wondering what they had missed. This site is dedicated to the PRS-2 Dreadnought and for most people it will be as close as they ever get to one. There will never be any more.
